SFF partners with the Game of Logging, an international logger and landowner training program, to provide hands on training for loggers to gain new and improved logging and safety skills under the supervision of highly qualified instructors.
Game of Logging Trainings 2008:
- March 1st - Level I
- March 2nd - Level II
All trainings will be held at the Biltmore Estate Forest, and the cost is $100 per person per day. Trainings must be taken in consecutive order. To register or for more information, email name, contact information, course level(s), and preferred course dates to Peter Bates, bates@email.wcu.edu.
All participants need to bring chain saw, chaps and head, ear, and eye protection. Dave Sienko will meet them at the main gate to Biltmore between 7:30 and 7:45 am Saturday morning. The training will last until about 5 pm. Pro-logger credit will be available.
